InterResolve is committed to protecting the privacy of Inter-Resolve.com users and the overall integrity of the internet. To that end, we set out here any issues related to privacy in the collection by InterResolve of personally identifiable information from users of Inter-Resolve.com.

A summary of the measures taken by InterResolve to protect our users' privacy is as follows:
* We do not provide or sell your details to third parties. In the case of email offers, these will only come to you from members of the InterResolve group of companies.
* InterResolve Holdings Limited and its respective group of companies many contact you by email, post or telephone with details of their products, services and promotions. In the case of email this correspondence will only be sent to those users who have opted in to receive communications via these methods.
* We reserve the right to disclose information about member usage and demographics to advertisers, partners, current and prospective commercial users and for research, but in anonymous aggregate form only. InterResolve Holdings Limited will not reveal your personal identity in connection with the disclosure of such information.
What personally identifiable information do we collect about you?
We may collect information on our users in two ways: through cookies, and through registration. For more information about cookies, please see below.
We require users to provide us with a name, email address, postal address and postcode in order to register for access to certain services. We may also ask for other non-mandatory demographic information from users, including occupation. This information is stored by us only.
Following registration we will employ a registration cookie to recognise a user and his or her access privileges on inter-resolve.com, as well as to track site usage.
We may also collect personal information from you through your use of enquiry forms, feedback forms and every time you email us your details.
We also log IP addresses, or the location of your computer on the internet, for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We occasionally use IP addresses to track a user's session, but do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.
What do we do with the information collected?
The primary purpose for which we collect and store personal information is in order to operate InterResolve's Bodily Injury Claims Scheme ('IR:BICS').
We may perform statistical analyses of user behaviour in order to measure relative consumer interest in the various areas of our site (for product development purposes). Personal information on individual users will not be provided to any third party other than legitimately for the purposes of operating IR:BICS or otherwise as set out in this policy.
We may periodically send you email updates on inter-resolve.com and services offered by the InterResolve group of companies. Only those users who have opted in to receive these communications via email will receive this information via these methods. If you subsequently wish to opt out of receiving such information from us, please send an email to support@inter-resolve.com stating that you would prefer not to receive or wish to discontinue such mailings.
With whom do we share the information we collect?
We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other 3rd parties. We will only share the information with companies within the InterResolve Group of companies or with other users of and service providers to IR:BICS legitimately for the purposes of operating IR:BICS or those companies with which we have binding partnership agreements.
What is a cookie?

Why does inter-resolve.com use cookies?

Will a website or organisations outside of InterResolve be able to steal my ID and password?
No. Only InterResolve can read the information about your ID and password submitted by you when registering.
Information contained in any email message from InterResolve Holdings Limited is confidential and is intended for the addressee only. If you receive any message in error or there are any problems with its transmission or content please notify the sender immediately. Any unauthorised or inappropriate use, disclosure, copying or alteration of any email message from InterResolve is not permitted.
Viruses
We take system management and integrity very seriously all downloadable files contained within this site and any email messages and their attachments have been scanned for known viruses.
InterResolve cannot be held liable for direct, special, indirect or consequential damages arising from alteration of the contents of any download or message or as a result of any virus being passed on.
