InterResolve Launches its MotorResolve Online Claims Platform
InterResolve today announced the launch of it’s new bespoke technology platform for claims handling. The platform has been developed as part of InterResolve’s ‘scaling-up’ programme for new high-volume motor claims business due to start in the spring of 2009.
The launch coincides with the development of InterResolve’s new MotorResolve and Third Party Capture products, where InterResolve is acquiring high-volume injury and bent-metal claims. The online platform will significantly boost InterResolve’s claims-handling efficiencies and streamline its forthcoming outsourcing programme. Specifically, all stakeholders to InterResolve’s claims service wiil have access to dedicated portals. Stakeholders include claimants, insurers, medical providers, lawyers and InterResolve’s car repair/replacement partners:

Insurers use the portal to make liability decisions and review evidence and make offers. The portal also acts as a virtual ‘claims file’

Third Party Service providers use the portal to provide evidence when instructed, such as medical assessments and forensic accounts’ reports

Solicitors use the portal to receive new claims form InterResolve and provide light-touch legal advice where required

InterResolve’s new business process outsourcers use the portal to fulfill and manage inbound and outbound claims documents on its behalf.
Tech Specs: The system is built using the latest standards and is based on the .Net 3.5 framework. It is highly secure, hosted by Rackspace and powered by Cisco systems. InterResolve has also uprated its Disaster Recovery plan. The online nature of the platform also means all users can work remotely from any location whenever required.
